Who am I? My passion for photography came from my mother. When I was growing up she was never without her camera. In fact, whenever I threw a temper tantrum as a child, Mom insisted on documenting my emotional display for posterity (and she still torments me with that photo album to this day)! When I embarked on a sixth grade trip to Washington D.C.—point and shoot camera in hand—my mom critiqued the images upon my return. And, when I began to seriously explore photography in college, it was my mom who presented me with my first Single Lens Reflex film camera as a birthday gift. My mom introduced me to photography when I was young and still encourages my passion for it today. But my mom also taught me that the true value of a photograph is not just the quality of the image, but the story it tells. And as a photographer, nothing gives me more joy than the chance to help someone tell their story through my lens. As for my story, I’ve had the fortune to play many roles in my life. Once you’ve chosen your preferred portrait experience from the options below, all you need to do is contact me and I will send you: • A portrait agreement that you can quickly fill out online and pay the booking fee • A link to help us schedule an available date for your portrait session • A short survey that helps me get to know you so that I can tailor a unique portrait session just for you. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers yet! That’s what I am here for! I will help you find the perfect location, decide what to wear, and finalize all of the logistics of your portrait session If at any point you have any questions or concerns, I’m just a phone call away and I am eager to help you solve problems and make this an amazing experience for you or your family. A non-refundable session fee is due in full at the time of booking to reserve the date of your portrait session. This fee is to retain my time and talent for the many hours it takes for me to photograph your session, edit your images, and prepare your online proofing gallery. Following your portrait session, prints and products may be purchased separately from the discounted collections or a la carte prices found in this guide. There is no minimum order and no obligation to make any purchase beyond your initial session fee. The Headshot Experience $100 • A 30 minute studio experience tailored for business professionals, models, actors, and others in need of headshot portraits for promotional use. (Add $50 for an on-location experience.) • A password protected online proofing gallery with 5-10 images • Two high resolution images of your choice, provided to you in both color and black&white, along with an image release for promotional use and accompanying web-sized images. • Includes a 40% discount on the purchase of all desk-size prints if purchases are made within 1 month of gallery delivery.

STEP 2: PREPARE TO HAVE FUN! My goal is to give you an fun, stress-free portrait experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. (And don’t worry, we’ll create amazing images for you too!) You can expect to help you every step along the way. This starts with a pre-session phone consultation to answer all of your questions and concerns. And then I will be fully available to you before AND after your portrait session. This includes: • • • • • • • •
Helping you identify the perfect location(s) that is meaningful to you. Helping you style your session and choose clothing, props and more that will show off your unique personality. Helping you find professional hair and makeup services (I work with talented artists that will help you take your images from great to “wow”!) Teaching you to pose like a model to create portraits guaranteed to impress your friends Helping you choose which images to print following your session Helping you design and create custom photographic art for your home. Solving any problems or concerns that you might have about your shoot.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What if it rains or I have to reschedule? Life happens (especially in Oregon) and sometimes we just have to roll with it. In the case of bad weather, illness, or unforeseen emergencies, we will reschedule your session for a mutually convenient time. All I ask is that you provide as much notice as you are able. I know you are very busy and I do my best to be flexible. Sometimes life throws me a curve ball too, and I hope that my clients will be equally understanding. How long will it take me to get my images? My portrait agreement with you says 2-4 weeks. In reality, I strive to deliver your images to you through an online proofing gallery within 1-2 weeks following your session. This depends greatly on the time of year and the number of clients that are waiting before you. If you are under a deadline, please let me know and I will do my best to meet your needs How many image proofs will I see? During your portrait session, we will take a lot of images─most of which you will never see. My job is to cull through those images for you and weed out the ones where you were blinking, had an unflattering look, or otherwise didn’t work out. I identify the best of the best images from your session, fully edit those images, and put them into your online proofing gallery. This usually means about 10-20 final images for each hour of shooting, but it ultimately depends on the success of your individual portrait session. How do I place my order? The easiest and best way is to select your images during an in-person ordering session in your home or at my studio. Some people feel pressured by this, so I provide my clients with an online proofing gallery that includes a convenient shopping cart which allows you to place your order online. The downside to this is that I am not physically with you to provide advice in real time, and most monitors are not properly color calibrated (so what you see on your screen might not look exactly like the prints you will receive). If you get overwhelmed or you want the full service of an in person ordering session, please don’t hesitate to call!

How long will my gallery be available? After your gallery is delivered to you, you will have 30 days to view the image proofs and purchase prints or products. If you make a purchase within 30 days, your gallery will remain open for an additional six months. If you do not make a purchase during this time, you may be charged a reactivation fee.

As a result, I am constantly searching for the highest quality products in the industry. My goal is to provide my clients with enduring, heirloom quality artwork that will be passed down for generations to come. Photographic Prints I offer my clients images produced from nothing but the nations very best professional print labs that use fade-resistant inks and enduring archival quality papers. There is no comparison between the quality of the prints produced through my studio to those made on machines at your local drug store— the colors are more vibrant, flesh tones are accurate, contrast and tint are controlled, and the paper withstands aging and ultraviolet light. I’m proud of the photographs that I produce. I want you to be able to display them beautifully and have them look as amazing years from now as they did when you first placed them on your wall.
