A Study on Creating Works by Multiple Ways to Express with Text and Image - Focused on Textile Art Utilizing Braille
As for following works, images of family and friends are used, which can be found in everyday life, but feel special about them. By directly touching braille texts, it allows observers to feel and reminisce the memories of their families and friends. Also it helps to find their values and identity, engaging to communicate with the observers. This has offered a new way to express in textile art through allowing the observers to communicate with the concept in works. Also, it was recognized that the textile art can set a more unique field and be developed within the pure formative arts.
