Hello There! I am Kanishk Singh Dhariwal, a student of architecture. Currently, I am pursuing my architectural degree from the Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. I am an organised and efficient person with an enquiring mind. I am a good listener and learner, and am able to communicate well with people from all walks of life. An entrepreneurial mindset with an architectural belief that the spaces between the buildings, the negative spaces, and the minimal spaces are regions that give life to the buildings. This portfolio consists of my academic projects from 2018–2022, my architectural journey, my undergraduate projects, and showcases what I have to offer.
About the Site
Site: Summersville, West Virginia, USA The City of Summersville, WV is located in the heart of West Virginia and surrounded by the cool and pristine waters flowing from the mountains. Elevation: 573 m Area: 11.73 km² Wind direction: South East Population: 3,316 (2020) Founded: 1824
CONCEPT
The ideation was to play with the quadrilateral and derive the shape for the structure. The start was from basic rectangle
After rectangle the basic idea was to combine it with another shape of same kingdom i.e. trapezium
The development of the concept led to the combination of two shapes providing two different perspectives of the same structure. The interior of the house is consisted in rectangle whereas the trapezium concept elevations provides a different perspective with lean facade walls and edges

Location : Shantigram, Ahmedabad. Shantigram is a fast developing area in Ahmedabad. Located close to National Highway 8C. This place is well connected to the neighboring places. Khodiyar Railway Station is the nearest station from this place while the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport also lies a brief driving distance away. The Polygon plot of area 8.57 acres is surrounded by Adani group and their properties and is located in Shantigram,one of the fastest developing area of Ahmedabad Metropolitan Region.The site is accessed by the Sagar Sheth Road primarily,which merges into the Two way Shantigram Road.
