V2 atop Devon Tower Oklahoma City, Oklahoma July 29, 2016
B4B History The Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation’s Bid for Brotherhood (B4B) began in 1998 in Kansas City, Missouri. Started by then Knight Commander James R. Estes, B4B serves to combine an alumni event with a meaningful fundraising activity to establish an endowment for KA’s valuable leadership education programs. By providing a grant to the Order annually, the costs associated with providing outstanding educational opportunities are minimal to our undergraduate members. The eventual goal is to have all of KA’s programs available to every undergraduate KA at zero cost to them. As of last year, the net income raised through B4B events has totaled $795,600. Each auction event continues to grow and it is our hope that this 19th annual B4B, held at V2 in Oklahoma City will be our best yet. The following is a listing of previous B4B locations:

So tonight, the KAOEF would like our “Fund of Need” to raise $10,000 for the Number I’s Leadership Institute. It is critically important that we continue providing quality training for the young men who lead our chapters. KA’s leadership and valuesbased education provides valuable lessons our members will utilize throughout their lives. Therefore, we hope everyone here will step up and support this important educational program! 8:50-9:10pm LAST KA STANDING Be sure to buy your “bingo card” for the chance to be the “Last KA Standing” and win a Yeti Cooler.
