Both children and adults with developmental disabilities (e.g., autism, Down syndrome, etc.) may benefit from the concrete symbols and photographs used on the M3. The phrase and word-based vocabulary for basic communication can be used to learn and practice the skills needed to move to the next level of language and literacy development.

Communication simplified. The extensive pre-made page sets offer simple page layouts with the option of 6 or 12 buttons per page, pre-recorded messages and a structured language framework that can easily meet the needs of emergent communicators right out of the box.

For those individuals just starting on their communication journey, the M3 can be used as a pathway for supporting successful communication in everyday activities as well as encourage the development of higher-level language skills. The M3 also supports early social skills development by providing the ability to initiate a conversation, tell a story, share a photograph or even tell a joke.
