Φυσικά, μεγάλα είναι και τα οφέλη για την ίδια την ελληνική κοινωνία, καθώς προσελκύει τουρίστες υψηλής οικονομικής και κοινωνικής τάξης, που έχουν την δυνατότητα να δαπανήσουν χρήματα. Βέβαια, οι τουρίστες με τα συγκεκριμένα χαρακτηριστικά επιθυμούν την παροχή ποιοτικών υπηρεσιών, το οποίο μόνο θετικό είναι για την κοινωνία καθώς βελτιώνεται συνεχώς. Επιπλέον, μέσω ενός συνεδρίου δεν ανταλλάσσονται μόνο απόψεις αναφορικά με το εκάστοτε θέμα ενός επιστημονικού κλάδου. Ανταλλάσσονται απόψεις, αντιλήψεις και σκέψεις πάνω σε πολλά θέματα. Πρόκειται, δηλαδή, τελικά, για μία επικοινωνία πολιτισμών. Άρα, μέσω των συνεδρίων προβάλλονται και οι αξίες της διαπολιτισμικότητας, της αλληλεγγύης και της παγκοσμιοποίησης.

1. Πώς βλέπετε το μέλλον του συνεδριακού τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα και ποιοι παράγοντες θα βοηθούσαν; Κατά την προσωπική μου γνώμη ο συνεδριακός τουρισμός κερδίζει ολοένα και μεγαλύτερο έδαφος στην χώρα μας. Δεν είναι εξάλλου τυχαίο το γεγονός ότι η Ελλάδα αποκτάει συνεχώς μία καλύτερη θέση στην παγκόσμια κατάταξη.Αυτό βέβαια θεωρώ ότι οφείλεται σε μια συνολική προσπάθεια πολιτείας και επαγγελματιών του κλάδου μας. Ωστόσο, ναι με την πανδημία Covid 19 όλα πήγαν λίγο πίσω και μετά βεβαιότητας o κλάδος μας δυσκολεύτηκε αρκετά, καθώς περιορίστηκε σημαντικά η διεξαγωγή συνεδρίων και εκδηλώσεων. Αυτό το εμπόδιο, όμως, θεωρώ ότι μας έδωσε ώθηση να επισπεύσουμε τον τεχνολογικό μας μετασχηματισμό και να γίνουμε πιο δημιουργικοί, πιο τολμηροί και αποφασιστικοί θα έλεγα. Ας μην ξεχνάμε ότι η χώρα μας αποτέλεσε τη γενέτειρα όλων των επιστημών και είναι αυτή που οδήγησε και ταξίδεψε με τις ρηξικέλευθες για την αρχαία εποχή σκέψεις και αντιλήψεις, τον κόσμο ένα βήμα πιο πέρα. Ακόμη και σήμερα αποτελεί αντικείμενο θαυμασμού για εκατομμύρια ανθρώπους ανά τον κόσμο. Πιστεύω πως ήρθε η ώρα να αποτελέσει και σημαντικό πυρήνα στον τομέα του συνεδριακού τουρισμού. Άλλωστε διαθέτει τις απαραίτητες υποδομές για διεξαγωγή άρτιων συνεδρίων και εκδηλώσεων. Διαθέτει αξιόλογους επαγγελματίες και το σημαντικότερο εναλλακτικές προτάσεις προορισμών που δύσκολα βρίσκεις σε άλλες χώρες τις Ευρώπης. Πολύ σημαντική για την χώρα μας είναι και η επιστημονική κοινότητα, η οποία απαρτίζεται από εξέχοντες επιστήμονες με διεθνείς διακρίσεις για τα επιστημονικά τους επιτεύγματα. Αυτό καθιστά ακόμη πιο επιτακτική την ανάγκη να προβάλλεται ακόμη πιο σθεναρά ο συνεδριακός τουρισμός στην Ελλάδα. Φυσικά, ένας βοηθητικός παράγοντας θα ήταν η υποστήριξη της πολιτείας. Πάντως, ένα πράγμα θεωρώ σίγουρο: το μέλλον του συνεδριακού τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα προβλέπεται ευοίωνο, ειδικά μετά τη covid περίοδο, όπου όλοι μας έχουμε έντονη την ανάγκη της επαφής με συναδέλφους και συνεργάτες.

2. Ποια τα οφέλη της οικονομίας/κοινωνίας από τα συνέδρια; Τα κοινωνικά και οικονομικά οφέλη από την ανάπτυξη του συνεδριακού τουρισμού είναι πολυποίκιλα. Ο συνεδριακός προορισμός ζωντανεύει και διαφημίζεται, η οικονομία ενισχύεται, οι θέσεις εργασίας αυξάνονται και όχι μόνο αυτά. Άλλωστε πρόκειται για μία εναλλακτική μορφή τουρισμού που μόνο θετικά οφέλη μπορεί να έχει. Η συνεδριακή αγορά επιδρά ευεργετικά στην εθνική οικονομία της χώρας και επιπλέον αποτελεί μία τεράστια διαφήμιση για την Ελλάδα προσελκύοντας ακόμη μεγαλύτερο αριθμό επισκεπτών στη χώρα μας και μάλιστα όλον τον χρόνο, όχι μόνο τις θερινές περιόδους. Με αυτό τον τρόπο ενισχύονται οικονομικά οι τοπικές επιχειρήσεις, το οποίο αυτόματα συνεπάγεται άνοιγμα νέων θέσεων εργασίας προκειμένου να ανταπεξέλθουν στις απαιτήσεις ενός μεγάλου συνεδρίου. Επιπρόσθετα, στο πλαίσιο ενός

Όταν, όμως, πρέπει να δώσουμε ένα πιο χαρακτηριστικό άρωμα στη διοργάνωση προτείνουμε στους πελάτες μας και εναλλακτικές περιοχές που διαθέτουν φυσικά τις απαιτούμενες για τη διοργάνωση υποδομές. 5. Το Net Zero αναφέρεται σε μια ισορροπία μεταξύ των ανθρωπογενών εκπομπών αερίων του θερμοκηπίου (GHG) και της απομάκρυνσής τους από την ατμόσφαιρα. Για να επιτευχθεί αυτή η ισορροπία, οι εκπομπές αερίων του θερμοκηπίου πρέπει να μειωθούν και οι μη αποφευχθείσες πρέπει να αντισταθμιστούν ή να «εξουδετερωθούν» μέσω της χρήσης μακροπρόθεσμων λύσεων δέσμευσης άνθρακα.

Ποια είναι η διαφορά ανάμεσα στις έννοιες Net Zero και Carbon Neutral; Για το Carbon Neutral, οι μη αποφευχθείσες εκπομπές αντισταθμίζονται με τη χρήση παραδοσιακών αντισταθμίσεων (πιστώσεις άνθρακα που προέρχονται από έργα που αναπτύσσουν ανανεώσιμες πηγές ενέργειας, αποδοτικές μεταφορές κλπ.). Η Συμφωνία του Παρισιού Η Συμφωνία του Παρισιού είναι μια διεθνής συνθήκη για την κλιματική αλλαγή που εγκρίθηκε το 2015 στη Διάσκεψη των Ηνωμένων Εθνών για την Κλιματική Αλλαγή (COP21) στο Παρίσι. Το Net Zero και η βιομηχανία εκδηλώσεων Ο κλάδος εκδηλώσεων είναι ένα πολύπλοκο δίκτυο εταιρειών που εμπλέκονται άμεσα στην παράδοση εκδηλώσεων, όπως χώροι, διοργανωτές εκδηλώσεων, και προμηθευτές που παρέχουν τρόφιμα και ποτά, εξοπλισμό και σήμανση, μεταξύ άλλων. Η AIM Group μέσω της συνεχούς συνεργασίας σε όλο τον τομέα των εκδηλώσεων θα μπορέσει να σημειώσει γρήγορη και ουσιαστική πρόοδο προς τη μείωση του συνολικού αποτυπώματος άνθρακα των εκδηλώσεων. Οι δεσμεύσεις αυτές ευθυγραμμίζονται με τους στόχους της Συμφωνίας του Παρισιού για το κλίμα. Με την υπογραφή της δέσμευσης, ο Όμιλος AIM δεσμεύεται να δημοσιεύσει την πορεία του για την επίτευξη Net Zero το αργότερο έως το 2050, με έναν ενδιάμεσο στόχο σύμφωνα με την απαίτηση της Συμφωνίας του Παρισιού για μείωση των παγκόσμιων εκπομπών αερίων του θερμοκηπίου κατά 50% έως το 2030.
