ARCHITECTURE
PORTFOLIO K A R E E M El N E M S M.A architetcure 2018
About me Architecture has two scales that interest me, the scale of an object in the city fabric, how it affect the city growth and how it shapes people’s memory. On the other hand, the scale of the spatial experience which the architect gives to the user. I am passionate to work on both scales in parallel. Every project I worked on, I tried to create new spatial experience alongside with a unique tide to this bigger network; the city. But this interest needs a long set of skills to be fulfilled, technical skills which are the software that the architect needs to visualize or build his vision and the theoretical base that helps him to come up with this vision, That's why I keep myself updated with what is happening in the architectural discourse and practice. And that's why I am applying to your firm to make use of these set of skills in a stimulating environment, A place where visions come real, with the keen to push the limits of the norm.

1.1 AN AUTOMATED HYBRID ARCHITECTURE PROGRAM 1.1.1 ABSTRACT This thesis research attempts to conjure in architecture using a programmatic approach, assuming that if the concept of time and automation is injected in the architecture design program it will make it Hybrid and this will result in maximizing the functional possibilities of activities that can happen in one space. In line with this major goal, the research presents theoretical references for timed programs focus on Cedric price work, and on the other hand, present some case studies that using the same approach. Firstly the research draws a line between program, time and automation and how this will result in a hybrid program, Then experimenting how this hybrid program will maximize the functional possibilities Taking Berlin as a fertile field to apply this approach.

Self-Crossing Loop = Double Hyperbolic Paraboloid
4.1 DESIGN PROCESS
Flow of passengers is arranged through a double loop divided to interconnected inbound and outbound zones. The two zones are mediated when the loop flips and crosses itself. The graphically memorable flow provides quick access to first-time travelers and saves time for frequent travelers. Instead of the classical separation of roof and interface, the two are combined in one hybrid spatial organization model that folds from wall to roof to wall again to regulate separating and merging inbound and outbound ows.

TERRACED UNIT And finally the terraced unit which large, luxurious and designed to adapt with the sloped edge on the northwest of the hill and provide each space inside the unit with an uncompromised sea
DESIG PROCESS The exercise was to experiment some geometrical shapes that fulfill: a) Given land area b) the programmatic requirements c) full sea view from all inner spaces b) adaptation with the sloped edge on the northwest of the hill.
CONTEXTUAL APPROACH Beside using the regional materials in construction, the terraced unit dealt optimally . with the context The terraced unit also is designed to be located in a steeby hill, Therefore A difference in level between the villa units to adabt the hill have also an exlusive sea view
Terraced unit is designed to adapt the sloped edge of the hill and to have a full sea view from all inner spaces due to it's geometrical shape

While the spaces beneath the blanket experience a higher degree of formal freedom, the repetitive nature of the classrooms reduces the potential of the school building into a shed oating over the blanket, while concentrates the intelligence of the building in its skin, which is interpreted here as a stretching vertical bands that can fully express and tell the stories of the spaces behind them. The whole visual effect of the vertical blinds from far distorts the traditional orthogonal Miesian grid.
