The draft Archs. Gonzalo Cáceres, José Ellero, William Orme and Ezekiel Pistone won First Prize Category 3 (multifamily building) in the National Sustainable Works.
May we have a better planet with the design of these houses Environmental characteristics • The project is located in the city of Junín, belonging to the bioenvironmental zone iii with a humid temperate climate with hot summers average temperature 22.5 ° C and winters with averages of 9.5 ° c. • The temperature range is kept constant throughout the year at 12 ° c. • The annual average relative humidity is 75% (82% winter and 65% summer). • Rainfall occurs mainly from November to march and are around 1,000 mm annually. • The prevailing winds in the area are the pampero in summer, from the south-west and the sudestada in autumn and spring, from the southeast-east with an average speed of 13 km / h. • These factors were the starting point for the proposition and generation of our proposal. • We believe that the main factors controlling climate is relatively high temperatures and humidity in summer.
