God is Love In all His works, and in all His dealings with mankind, God reveals His character of love. In the greatest act of love ever known Jesus came down to earth, died our death on the cross, and rose again three days later, in order to reconcile us with the Father. But how can we truly know and experience the reality of God’s love in our lives? So many of us know in our heads that God loves us, but we struggle to truly know this in our heart. We can talk about, think about, read about and hear about love all we like, but no amount of human effort can bring us to the place where we are able to truly know the love of God. We can’t make it happen ourselves! We need God to give us a personal revelation of His love. The Spirit of God directs us into His love (2 Thessalonians 3:5) and also pours out the love of God within our hearts (Romans 5:5). This pouring out of love can only be accomplished by the power of the Holy Spirit, and can’t be attained by human effort or through intellectual understanding.

One of the most amazing revelations I’ve had recently is that God loves each one of us with the same love that He has for Jesus. How amazing is that! There’s no more pure and perfect example of love than that which exists within the Godhead. The Father loves the Son perfectly, and without restraint or measure - yet for some reason we seem to believe that God must love us a little bit less than He loves Jesus. We always seem to feel as if God loves Jesus with His ‘number one’ love and then loves us with His ‘number two’ love. But not so! Since the love of God is perfect and complete, there’s no measure. His love is boundless and immeasurable. He loves us with exactly the same love that He has for Jesus! As fully, completely, wholeheartedly and immeasurably as God loves Jesus – so He loves us. This is the love that melts our hearts and minds, and draws us closer to the heart of the Father - the irresistible love of an indescribable God. © 2014 Seeds of the Kingdom

On Sunday mornings, we offer a comprehensive Sunday School program for children from ages 3 until grade 8. We are intentional in modeling the love of Jesus and teaching core Biblical truths. Children will learn what it means to fear God and to obey His commands, as well as how to distinguish good from evil. Your child will bond with other kids, build friendships, worship in song, and most importantly, learn God’s word. Sunday nights, kids have a great time at Discipletown with Tomi Ministries. Wednesday Night is Star Voyage Academy at New City Church. 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm every Wednesday; for kids age 5 - 10.
New City Youth
Hey, parents - our nights are starting earlier! We now start at 7:00 every Friday!!!! What does a youth night consist of? Here is an idea of what our nights look like: Part 1 | 7:00 - 7:30 { Team Building & Ice Breaker Games } These games are meant to get youth working together in unity and provide fun while they are at it. Part 2 | 7:30 - 8:00 { Worship } This part of our service says it all. This is what we are here for - to Worship God and to express our love to Him Part 3 | 8:00 - 9:00 { Word } Yes, we consider the Word the most important part of our service. This is where we grow deeper in our knowledge of Christ and gain weapons of warfare to fight the enemy’s attacks. Encourage your youth to bring their Bible, and if they don't have one, please get them one as soon a possible; this is INVALUABLE to them. Part 4 | 9:00 -10:00 { Fellowship } This is where we just hang out and chat and have snacks, just because we enjoy being with each other. Fellowship costs money; this is where we need your help. If each family would contribute $10 a month, we can provide a snack each Friday and everyone can fellowship together. Otherwise, we are forced to go to fast food restaurants which costs more and limits participation for some.
