Since inception, K2K focuses on the art of storytelling to craft each Collection, as we believe that storytelling, whether through fashion, music or in the true literary sense, affects and effects change. Combining theatre, artistry and dance, the collaborative work with artists and creatives have resulted in some of the most magical shows. Today K2K brings theatre, storytelling, music, and stage plays to a viewing audience, focusing on original content written by its CoFounders. The theatrical pillar was created by creatives for creatives.

This Spring Summer 2025 Collection is themed, Holy Trespasses In this year’s presentation, there is an original approach for showcasing the research for the theme, with art meeting fashion meeting AI The work reiterates that history continues to inspire art, living on through various mediums, of which Carnival is also its conduit

The backpack renderings for this year’s Collection have been conceptualized by leveraging AI technology. And although the truth is in the tasting of the pudding, one has to wonder if this secret sauce could be worthy of a Michelin star? Regardless of critique, what is clear, is that this stew, has just gotten more gourmet!

Embedded within the story, lies the powerful symbol of the “Forbidden Fruit,” which, throughout time, in myriad of narratives, has often been depicted as an apple
Interestingly, is this “Tempting Apple”, which is the starting point for K’s Spring/Summer 2025 Collection, Holy Trespasses However, what is even more captivating, is the way that the apple reveals itself in various parts of the SS25 Collection
Moments.
In the blink of an eye, in the rush of a moment, things change.
And in the minutes thereafter, and, the many afters into the future, we soon discover, that life, with its sweet and sour; with its spice and bitter; with its simple indulgences and its guilty pleasures, can make our personal life’s recipe and serving, just as Holy, as it is Sinful.

The theme for Carnival 2025 is Holy Trespasses. It speaks to the bittersweet moments life has to offer.
For Carnival Monday we portray Limoncello, with the premise for the theme being, "When life gives you lemons, make limoncello!"
For indeed, while we cannot foresee the tang of life, we can make a conscious decision to make the best of it.
It funny how, fate seems to have a tendency of squeezing too many lemons on an already sour situation … And so, our recipe to cure the tang is to simply add some vodka and create the most divine taste to an acid flavor.

The apple is often used as a symbol for life, with the forbidden fruit, the apple, symbolizing the departure from innocence and a soul oriented life. From a biblical perspective, forbidden fruits means temptation. And there is perhaps no better temptation, than fruits dipped in chocolate.
On the ball skirts, crop tops, and bodysuits, apples have been printed, representing the “forbidden fruit”. This print is mixed layered with strawberries and is complemented with an orange dipped in chocolate.

The forbidden fruit speaks to free will, and the choice humans make… It is these choices which create the unique flavor to our life’s recipe The choice to be fearless, in the face of fear; The choice to try, at the risk of failure; The choice to be the victor of your own story, verses a victim of circumstance; The choice to put your fate into the hands of faith.

WHY THE MIX OF APPLES & GRAPES
Fruit, with its round shape, fleshy texture, and seeds, the grape symbolizes abundance, fertility, and prosperity, an embodiment of nature's bountiful blessings. Since they were cultivated (and made into wine) during the Neolithic era, grapes have been granted many symbolic meanings, from power and divinity to life and health, hospitality, sacrifice, celebration and indulgence.
The mixing of the fruit reiterates, that there is a balance in all things and “Life is holy just as it is sinful”

The term forbidden fruit refers to something that seduces or has the quality to seduce…“Something that seduces or has the quality to seduce”
Fruits are often a symbol of abundance, associated with goddesses of fertility, plenty, and the harvest. Sometimes, however, fruit represents earthly pleasures, overindulgence, and temptation.
The orange fruit has many symbolic meanings, including fertility, luxury, and connection. Strawberries, on the other hand, have had many symbolic meanings throughout history, including love, fertility, and temptation.

The 2025 Collection draws the correlation between life and food. It illustrates that although certain food can be sinful to the body, it can be divinely good for the soul. The costumes, therefore, represent the bitter sweet experiences of life. The theme is made whole, through showcasing the cutlery and silverware from which these delectables are served

The mixing of the fruit conveys positive blessings to the universe. In spirituality, an orange fruit often symbolizes prosperity, abundance, happiness, success, and positive energy due to its vibrant color, sweet taste, and association with the sun. In terms of a spiritual meaning, strawberries symbolizes love, passion, and healing. They are also considered a symbol of abundance and prosperity. Strawberries are seen as a symbol of purity and enlightenment.

Indeed, there is no better sinful indulgence, than comfort food! Comfort food has a way to keep us connected to the memories of home, love, nurturing and hope. It provides a source of emotional nourishment and connection to positive memories. But at the same time, this meal can put weight on hips! This makes comfort food a guilty pleasure

Comfort food reminds us of times of recovery and being taken care of. It is a vital part of 'Renewal', which we need in order to be Authentically Resilient. In a spiritual sense, "comfort food" represents a source of emotional nourishment and connection to positive memories, often linked to feelings of safety, love, and belonging, similar to how one might seek solace in spiritual practices or rituals; it can be a way to soothe the soul and provide a sense of inner peace

In a spiritual context, tea often symbolizes inner peace, mindfulness, connection to nature, and a moment of reflection; the act of preparing and drinking tea can be a meditative practice, allowing one to slow down, appreciate the present moment, and connect with their inner self.
