Phi Theta Kappa Symbols

The emblem of Phi Theta Kappa is a golden key. Across the center is a black band upon which appear the Greek letters Phi, Theta, and Kappa, meaning wisdom, aspiration, and purity. Behind the band is a wreath of oak leaves, denoting stability and strength of character, and the curling leaves of the laurel signify achievement and success. Above the band is the representation of the head of Minerva, the Goddess of Learning. Below the band appear the Greek mystic letters meaning light, the light of knowledge and learning.
