For the ďŹ nal project of out ARC 201 course, we were required to design a holiday retreat, in Cyprus. The aim of this project was to be able to create, and clearly identify distinct spaces withing the dwelling, creating a visably clear circulation system, as well as having a connection to the existing site. Through out the project, a series of line drawings were made, using line weights and color to identify section cuts and other lines in the plans and sections. Numerous techiques were strategically used in order to achieve descriptive and clear renderings. This included the addition of textures, lighting and more.

Plaster curdles are placed in the upper one third of the mold. This parts the smooth upper and lower mass surfaces.
Voids cross through from the smooth plaster surface to the crumbles, keeping them connected rather than being separate objects.
Test model created in process. The voids extrude out as solids at the upper one third of the model
