H
ow do you remember medical school? The first anatomy practical session, our naive firstyear enthusiasm, formalin-induced tears; it all seems like it just happened yesterday. Whether you’re leaving with good or bad memories, this yearbook will be a lasting record of the vibrant life of UGM Intermeds 2012. We, the committee, felt like a phony working on this yearbook, as medical school life rarely looks like the chilledout pages that follow. Like the rest of you, we know medical students spend most of their time behind laptop screens and studying. In our three and a half years together, we have spent too many leisure-less weekends, hunched over ours desk, with blurry boundaries between our studies and off-
hours. Keeping this in mind, we decided on the theme of weekends and leisure to re-learn how to do nothing, live more adventurously and embrace those two days, which are meant equally for rejuvenation and invigoration. The committee also thanks those who have contributed to the creation of this yearbook. This yearbook would not have existed without all of you. Once more, congratulations to us all for completing the first step of our long journey towards our dreams. The committee wishes you health, happiness and success for the future.
