Reporter: That’s right, but it will be a little bit hard to refuse their invitation, once your colleagues will be excited, it will be a great temptation! In my opinion you will face many sorts of challenges and for sure all your efforts will be worth it for your whole life, because you will be getting information, you will become wiser, more prepared to face the life, you will get better positions, better charges in companies, and for sure good salaries.

Teen: Oh yeah!! You bet, that’s why I think I’ll concentrate all my strength in my goals, and when I think about college, sometimes I wonder about studying law school, because with the global economy growing up, many companies and many citizens will need good lawyers to defend them and help them with good advices and good contracts.

4 Reporter: That’s amazing my son, you have a good will of power and you for sure, will fly very high to achieve all dreams you have, and they will come true as much as you struggle.

Teen: And how about you, what will you do for the next 2 years?

Reporter: Well, I’ll study English cuze today if you don’t have a good fluency in it, you are screwed. I’ve heard about a course they teach a good English, and it’s very easy to learn it! Have you ever heard about V.E.M Idiomas?

LESSON THREE

A failed businessman

r. Milton was one of the most well-known businessman in Brazil, he had 76 companies

spread all over states of Brazil, but he met a pretty secretary who manipulated him, and he passed everything to her name, and after doing this, she kicked his ass and he became a beggar

walking on streets begging for food and shelter to live in. He stayed wandering for almost one year. An old friend he had at the college, met him by chance walking in the street with his pants and t-shirt dirty, ripped, and stinking of crap. Then his friend decided to hold out one’s hand to help him out! The beggar cried a lot, hiccupped, and after he asked for a sheet of paper, and started to set up goals, he wrote down: from now on, I’ll work with all my heart, I’ll wake up very early every single day, I’ll find a job as an office boy, I’ll work from the zero to become a great businessman again, and mainly get all my companies back. The former beggar worked 6 months as an office boy, after he got a promotion as an executive secretary, after one year, he became a supervisor. After some months more, he became a manager, and after some days, the vice president of a multinational company. He saved some money and invested on stocks, he made a lot of money. He even bought percentages of many companies and in few years, he hired the best lawyer and got every company he had lost to his old secretary and put her in jail under manipulating and seducing Milton only to get his assets.

LESSON FOUR How to be a serious policeman?

ell, nowadays it’s being very difficult to be an honest policeman, but I

received a good education, I intend to keep all principles I have received my whole life, since my childhood. My parents are very scared, because I will be a policeman in Rio de Janeiro. They think it is very dangerous, and most part of population think all policemen are corrupted and robber, otherwise I’ll do my best to change people’s mind. I’ll work in the streets in blitz, and if some driver with the vehicle license expired tries to bribe me, I won’t accept it, I’ll arrest this person. When it is required me to go up the slums, I hope to be willing to do it. If I apprehend any portion of drugs I won’t sell it, or accept drug dealer’s money, but I’ll take everything to the police station and when I apprehend weapons, I’ll take them to the chief police, I will follow up what will happen and where all weapons will stop at. I will never use my authority in the streets to take advantage, if I see any irregularity, I’ll denounce them, I won’t be an informer but in my opinion if everybody does its part, we will live in a better country.
