Beach Vacation: Packing Tips for Women It is a beautiful summer day, warm, sunny, with a slight breeze blowing. What a great day for a vacation; so you take a week off from work, and decide to head to the beach. Fun in the sun, cool blue water, running to the store because you forgot something. What? The last thing doesn't sound fun? Well then let's take a look at packing tips for a beach vacation.

Make A List: My first tip for packing for any vacation, is to make a list of things you use for getting ready in each day. Items to put on your must take list should include:      

Clothes-shorts T-shirts capri pants a few nice shirts bathing suit, sandals flip-flops

Makeup! Put on your light summer makeup, you don't want to waste precious vacation time putting on layers of makeup, and it will be easier on your skin. Also remember to take sunscreen, moisturizer and chap-stick to protect your skin and lips from the harmful rays of the sun. Supplies! Towels, big beach towels, a beach umbrella, a few of your favorite magazines that you have not had time to read, and some bottled water (very important). Check Things Out: If you're going to the beach by plane, check the latest airport rules, and how much you are allowed to take on the plane. Right now the latest airport security rules, is that you can only take liquids in a small pint-size see through bag that you will have to show in the security line. If you are switching houses with someone else, or renting a holiday home, checked to see what supplies are being offered, and what you need to bring. Pack Light: Now that you have written out your list, and done your research, it is time to pack. Find a lightweight suitcase, you don't want to have to deal with too much on vacation, and put on your favorite

CD, and pack. Some experts say you should roll your clothes to keep them from wrinkling, but I'm not sure. Also remember to bring a beach bag to take things with you to the beach. Safety First, Always: Remember to always keep yourself safe, keep a cell phone and ID on your person, if going overseas keep your passport on you as well. You might also think about making it a girl's vacation, by taking some of your best friends or sisters. Also remember to never take rides anywhere from a stranger, and don't answer your hotel or a rental homes' door unless you know who is there. Just generally, remember common sense and keep yourself safe. Also don’t forget to leave a message to your family or friends on the places you are going to, that way they can track you in case something unexpected happens. Pick a Holiday Home Close to the Beach: What good are those preparations if you will travel long hours just to go to the beach from the place where you are staying?! So make sure to pick a holiday home that is close or walking distance from the beach. This way the moment you wake up, the ocean breeze will give you the feeling of being relax and light as you breathe in the morning air. Not to mention that you can take a walk or camp at the shore during nighttime. Have a fun vacation, pack well, and be safe. Oh, and take a few pictures and take pictures of the beach and the people on it.
