14| References Important requirements for the use of air tools! In order to maintain the power of a pneumatic motor, to avoid damage and to prolong the tool's life time the compressed air has to meet certain quality standards. Its recommended to install a maintenance unit at each compressed air outlet or work place.

The following conditions for operation are of great importance and should be observed closely. For each type of work place the correctly suited maintenance unit will produce optimum conditions for the used air tools.

Air Pressure The standard pressure of the supplied air should be 6.3 bar (90 SVL DW WKH DLU HQWUDQFH RI WKH DLU WRRO DOVR ZKHQ DLU LV ÀRZLQJ Air inlet pressures that are too high will lead to accessive wear

and failure of the tool after a while. Tools operating with too low air pressure are usually lacking in their full performance.

Air Quantity Depending on the type of air tool the air consumption during full performance may vary. Please compare the max. air consumption values for tools

indicated in our manuals and catalogues, the recommended KRVH VL]HV LQQHU GLDPHWHU ZLWK WKH PD[ ÀRZ UDWHV RI WKH maintenance units and the effective capacity of your compressor.

Condense / Dirt 7KH ZDWHU VHSDUDWRUV DQG ÂżOWHUV ZKLFK DUH LQWHJUDWHG LQ RXU maintenance units avoid corrosion in air motors and supply clean air. A high content of water in the compressed air will lead to rust and

Lubrication Periodical lubrication of air motors is absolutely required (daily) to maintain full perfomance of the motor, to prolong the life time of the motor and to prevent corrosion. If a motor is not running

Testing and quality inspections

All products are thoroughly tested at the Technocenter to pass EC certification according to ISO standards and many of the customer centres marketing the Rodcraft product lines are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
