Puducherry formerly known as Pondicherry is union territory lies in the southern coastal part of Tamil Nadu. Puducherry is a yet to be identified for the glories and picturesque sights it provides to the people. As colonies went, Puducherry was not exactly a success story. Priorly known as Vedapuri by scholars and pilgrims, it quickly transformed into a scattered town for the fishermen, weavers, artisans and businessmen. The city then after known as Poduke, became an important trade port during the Roman Empire.

Studying how the smallest details of a Catholic Church were designed to reflect the status of the people living there.
Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Built - 17th Century. The Fathers of Pondicherry arrived in 1689 and bought a large garden to the west of the fort. They erected a church in 1692, which was demolished by the Dutch in 1699. From 1728 to 1736, a large church was built on the site of the present cathedral. The third church was raised to the ground by the British in 1761 during the seven years wars. In 1765, provisionally functional building where the mission press is now was put up. In 1791, the main work was finished and the church was consecrated by bishop champenios. It stands for 300 years and is also the place where the bishop’s house is situated.

The city of Gwalior, situated in Madhya Pradesh, has grown in the past 250 years under the reigns of various rulers and dynasties. It attracts thousands of tourists every year in marvel of its local delicacies and architecture. The main idea was to understand how mixed use structures worked, how the street environment adjusted with the steady flow of traffic, and the history and mapping of the city. All major monuments like the Man Mandir Palace, Shah Jahan and Jahangir Mahal complex, Sahastrabahu Temple, Teli Temple, Moti Mahal, Tansen Tomb and Jai Vilas Palace were documented.
