On April 20-27, 2013, an international design management seminar and workshop was held at the Nida Art Colony as a result of a collaboration between the Vilnius Academy of Arts, the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania, Aalto University, the University of Lapland, and ISM University of Management and Economics.
The seminar covered design management themes, ranging from the designing of visual narratives and examining historically bound perceptions of graphic design and identity, to creating stories of design for business, using imagination and multidisciplinary innovations in product design, to the issues of finding the real problems in designing services and management, onto sharing and finally meeting the challenges that users face in their everyday.
Based on the experience gained during the seminar and workshop in Nida and trying to integrate these new methods into a learning process the Publication was prepared and published by Vilnius Academy of Arts.
