CURRICULAM VITAE I’m a 24 year old Architect ,Designer and a creative seeker. I recently completed my Masters in SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN from Architectural Association School of Architecture ,London. Throughout my academic career ,I have discovered a philosophy that entails design as an interdisciplinary ,collective efforts to consciously respond to the environment and the contemproary needs drove me to do this course. In my previous works as an Intern I experienced the development of design at different scales. I am passionate ,self-driven ,hardworking and willing to go above and beyond to design spaces or objects that best fits our lifestyle.

PASSIVE HOUSING CLUSTERS IN TROPICS GRADUATE THESIS PROJECT - JANUARY 2018
PROJECT BRIEF
This Thesis aims to rethink high-rise clustered communities in a dense urban fabric in the city of Coimbatore, India. The final design integrates adaptive strategies in high rise clusters with flexible communal areas that caters to the changing lifestyle trends and climatic conditions.
AIM To integrate Porous Architecture concepts in Cluster level and Building Block level with appropriate materials through various climatic tools for a passive Housing unit in the high rise clusters.
MY VISION This Thesis gave me a clear idea on how to approach a design according to the prevailing climate and context .And the necessary parameters which has to be considered while calibrating the design model in terms of its Thermal , wind and day-light performance.

CLIMATE RESPONSIVE COMMUNITY IN LONDON GRADUATE - STUDIO PROJECT - MAY 2017
POST-GRADUATE WORKS
PROJECT BRIEF
The goal of this project was to understand the sustainable design approaches and tools into a mixed use building in Peckham, London. Adaptive architecture along with occupant thermal and visual comfort was focused on this project.Passive and active solutions were also implemented to meet the Building Energy requirements as well as for zero carbon emission. During the whole process, it was important to create a mixed use housing programme delivering great sustainable solutions with lesser energy demands.
DESIGN EVOLUTION
A total site area of 5100 M2 with a 5 m setback
Extruded as a single block of 4 storeys in height to help understand the volume of the site.
The split-up volume creates boulevards for accessibility and permeability, by providing a distance of 20 metres between each segment. .

PROJECT BRIEF
The Project is about Revitilisation of the city core ,which hosts the old Prison Complex being the Heritage in Coimbatore city .The current scenario is in a very static and untapped condition with no connectivity to the outer environment. These Inner looking pockets having the heritage complex is in need of preservation .The existing introversion are prone to threat .This large lung space which has got greater pottentials needs active and passive recreation to be triggered responding to the Public.

DESIGN PROBLEM
The Project was done for NASA-GSEN Trophy ,2013.The problem sheet dealt with the revitalisation of slum or any other urban-poor scenario. It asked for a futuristic pan India solution which is aptible and can be a catalst that could be a master idea which can suit any such urban poor situation throughout India.
SPECIAL MENTION
We were awarded SPECIAL MENTION Trophy after the first level of Panel Pin-up .We were shortlsted in the Top 10 .Then the second level was a vedio presentation .were we ended up in Second place .This Trophy lead us to learn about Teamwork and Re-design methodologies.
MY ROLE Taking the position of DESIGN HEAD helped to express my ideas bodly and thought me to organize all collective ideas where the total number of Team members were 12.Working for re-design Trophy helped me to study on how to analyse a space and provide a suitable solution considering all the possible constraints on the site.

CONNECTIVITY
SYMPBIOTIC LIVING and FREE PLANNING is the key concept used for Housing which can be flexible to any spatial needs and different sizes based on the requirements of the dwellers.
The housing unit is designed as a “ KIT “ that can be assembled into a wide variety of arrangements and sizes of dwelling. It allows “Expansion” and “Contraction” of the same.

METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
The existing urban fabric of many developing cities in India incline towards westernization with no thought about its context. The Government’s lack of involvement in urban planning paves way for the privately owned business sector to venture in profit oriented schemes leading to tightly packed layouts with no concern about the quality of living and the connection with nature. This dissertation aims to rethink high-rise clustered communities in a dense

AAKRITI 2015 - “SPECIAL MENTION“ TROPHY
PROBLEM This project was for the AAKRITI-PRAGYAN Trophy 2014.The Problem statement dealt with the creation of a RECREATION SPACE that blends in with the ecosystem it is present in,and that which does not damage the ecological balance or the Bio-diversity of the space, which in turn can be used as a module to host in any similar environment.
DESIGN
By transforming the under utilized spaces into a productive reality,The proposal creates a FLOATING LANDSCAPE in the complex urban scenario that is achieved through Parasitic Architecture. The design is viable for 365 days a year and we are not just interested in tourists who needs to stop a moment and rest. But the residents ,workers present all over the time. Thus giving a year round activity that includes Cafe ,Exhibition space and pocket parks. Thus an attempt of Re-thinking the under utilised spaces into PRODUCTIVE UNITS.
PROJECT IN MY VISION
This project entry was awarded the THIRD PLACE after the Panel pin-up presentation. I worked in a team of 2 members in total. My contribution was towards analysis, concept derivation , planning and illustrations. Understood about various sustainable strategies incorporated in our design.
CHALLENGES FACED ON SITE The Proposed space should be a visual barrier with the surrounding urbanized scenario.
AREA UNDER CONSIDERATION The space underneath the flyovers.
The space must be pollution free.
The Architectural elements must be a sound barrier.
The Design of the space focussed on secondary and tertiary sector of population.
