Our Coaches Chris Horsley – Head Coach Chris’ tennis career began in Sydney, where he trained at the Australian Tennis Academy, achieved a national youth ranking, and competed professionally for 4 years before focusing on coaching both nationally and internationally. With more than 16 years’ experience, Chris is able to provide highperformance instruction and training programs to suit any player’s goals and requirements.
Zuzana de Widt – Tennis Administrator & Coach Zuzana was born and raised in Slovakia. Her love for tennis started with her parents owning a tennis centre. As a junior, Zuzana was ranked 10th in Slovakia and reached an International tennis federation ranking of 120th in the world whilst playing on the European circuit. Zuzana also finished a Masters Degree in Physical Education, specializing in tennis coaching. In 2009 Zuzana emigrated to Australia and continued working with young players around the North Shore area.
Harry Kelleher – Coach Harry began his tennis career on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where he excelled at both club and school tennis, being selected for the Australian schoolboys tennis team in 2011 and gaining a ranking of 6 in NSW under 18s. His success in his junior years helped him secure a scholarship to the US to play college tennis at the University of Texas at Tyler whilst studying a physiology and exercise degree. In his senior year, he was awarded the American Southwest Conference MVP and was ranked 26th in NCAA college tennis nationally. Back coaching in Sydney, Harry provides a level of motivation, maturity and relatability to aspiring players which makes him a great role model.

Glenn Jackson – Coach Glenn is previously a ranked Australian Tennis Professional and travelled internationally on the men’s futures tennis circuit. Glenn has been coaching for over 7 years and is extremely passionate about providing a positive coaching environment for all our players here at QTSC. He has previously worked overseas with Tennis Europe hosting international high school children and devising tournament itineraries for the USA ranked juniors across Europe.
Fernando Ibarrola - Coach Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Fernando now lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. Ben O’Connell – Hitting Partner Ben O’Connoll (Yr 12) is ranked in the Top 10 juniors in NSW. He trains out of the Queenwood Tennis and Sports Centre and has worked as a coaches’ assistant for Queenwood Tennis throughout 2016. Ben has recorded some creditable tournament performances this year, including reaching the semi- finals of the Southern District Open and also the Port Stephens AMT. He also went on to win the Riverina Open Doubles. His most recent achievement was qualifying for the Wollongong 25 000 Futures Pro Tournament.
James Walbank – Hitting Partner James Walbank (Yr 9) has played for St Aloysius’ Open tennis team since Yr 7, and is the number one player in their 1sts. James regularly plays junior tour tournaments and trains in squads with Fernando Ibarrola at the Queenwood Tennis and Sports Centre. In 2014, James won the Sydney Metropolitan Medibank Champion of Champions. In 2015, he was selected for the Australian Jesuit Schools tennis team and since then also represents the Combined Associated Schools of NSW (CAS)
