MODEL OF THE LOMBOK POST-DISASTER TEMPORARY NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE CENTER
After the 2018 earthquake, the existing Lombok public service buildings were damaged. While getting through the recovery phase, residentials are vital, yet public service buildings are also necessary. Therefore, a temporary Neighbourhood Service Centre, which optimalize post-disaster handling, is crucial in an evacuation settlement.
With Bamboo Architecture
This project develops a module concept which can be replicated and modified at various evacuation points in Lombok. Bamboo architecture is used as this material responses earthquake effectively and has been used in Lombok traditional architecture.

TANAH ABANG RAILWAY-TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT 7th semester studio | 2018
Dense Housing
Access to Nature
Tanah Abang is an area where the largest textile market in Southeast Asia exist since 1735. Throughout centuries lots of people were moving in, and up to this point, not only the numbers of dwelling rocketing disorderly, but this area also grows into a strategic office complex. However, the existence of the station has been neglected since trains was not seen as a strategis transportation. This project aims to reshape Tanah Abang to fit the needs of the fast-paced life and to bring back the essential of railway to the city.

Existing Condition The overview of the area which is packed and visually unorganized shows that the existing configuration needs a rearrangement. While reorganizing the land use seems prominent, creating an interconnected access and circulation should go hand-in-hand to make sure The Market District livable and runs efficiently.
Proposed Land Use Plan Intermodal station Underground parking Green spaces Residential areas Commercial areas
Redefining new functions in the area (intermodal station & underground parking lot) makes the city life runs efficiently. Encouraging lots of green spaces as they try to give a visual break from the city fast-paced life.
Proposed Access and Circulation Plan LRT Station Online transport pool Skybridge Road widening
Bringing back the heyday of railway transportation into the area in hope to reduce traffic jam and generate green transportation. Adding few new online transport pools is a necessary as this transportation mode is emerging.

Defining The Connection
Shaping the area is expected to become a hands on solution to the configuration of the area. The access lays between area’s prominent functions which is LRT station, Tanah Abang Market, and residential area. Through road widening, a clear relationship and connection between the three functions is stated.
2
Defining Inner Attraction Node
Spreading the commercial area so that they are not only centered on Tanah Abang Market is expected to be one of the ways to parse density throughout the whole site. Designing an area for human means encouraging them to walk, so besides creating the node there should be a linkage in between therefore a skywalk is necessary.
1
Grid
Dividing the area in the grid as implemented in the road widening defines the circulation in the residential area to be more livable. Houses would be lifted up to create larger green space and each house would have a proper space in between. Eventually, everyone will have a respectable living area.
2
Point of Attraction
To make it as close as the preceeded Indonesian typical housing area which has plenty of small corners for children to gather and play, creating one big point of attraction, which later be used as a plaza would be beneficial. The plaza will function not only for children but also for adults.

REBRANDING PARANGTRITIS SUB-DISTRICT OFFICE Architecture Excursion| 2018
Team Project | Contribution: research, design concept, 3D modelling & rendering Parangtritis coastal area is susceptible to earthquake and tsunami disasters as it is directly opposite the Eurasian Plate and Indo-Australian Plate subduction zone. According to this, disaster anticipation should be prepared early on. However, the lack of evacuation facilities became the main issue in this situation.

CATHOLIC CHURCH IN PALU Architect Assistant | 2018
Architect: Dr. Ing. Ir. Eugenius Pradipto A devastating earthquake, tsunami and liquefaction had occurred in Palu, Sulawesi in 2018. Many churches cannot survive. This church was built using bamboo construction which is responsive to earth shock.
MANUNGGALING KAWULA GUSTI 'Manunggaling Kawula Gusti' or the joining of humans (kawula) with God (Gusti) is used to manage the space layout. All spaces are oriented to the altar as the core of the church. It also intends to uphold a harmonious relationship between humans and the Creator.

FORMAL
1
It is important to divide an office area into two big groups: formal and nonformal. This aim to assign the function and access of each part. The formal group will occupy formal activities done in an office, such as working, doing discussion, meeting, and so on. The main access to the formal area is using the existing access which have an innercourt and is already designed as an entrance. The non formal group will occupy activities that is less formal but is important to support an office, such as lunch break and praying. To stay approachable, this function will be supported by secondary access that is differed from the formal access.
The largest facade of the primary massing for each groups are oriented based on its own access. This desicion is taken because it shows the warmth and inclusiveness of the office building.
2
The massing expands as the office needs to engage with the space programming requirement and the direction of expansion need to follow the initial grouping area for which an office will run effectively
3
The final design of the whole building is finished with few touch of Javanese traditional house and exposed material. This plays a big role as the building is inside the Borobudur complex area.
