Course Objectives
1. To provide students with a strong background on Matlab/PSPICE/Labview software. 2. To impart practical working knowledge of electrical and electronics simulation and analysis using simulation software 3. To prepare the students to use Matlab/Labview in their project work and in real time applications.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will be able to 1. Understand the main features of the MATLAB programming environment. 2. Apply working knowledge of MATLAB package to simulate and solve electrical, electronic circuits and applications. 3. Solve, Simulate and Analyse various network theorems and electric circuits. 4. Identify & formulate solutions to problems relevant to power system using software tools. 5. Simulate various converter/inverter circuits. 6. Solve, Simulate and Analyse various Analog Electronic circuits. 1. Simulation of Transient response of RL and RC Circuit with step and sinusoidal input signals 2. Simulation of Transient response of RLC Circuit with Step and sinusoidal input signals 3.
