by Auntie Karen
AUGUST 15, 1950 - MAY 16, 2022
WE REMEMBER THE LIFE OF DEBBIE CHERRY, A VALUED MEMBER OF THE AUNTIE KAREN FOUNDATION SINCE ITS INCEPTION. ALONGSIDE HER HUSBAND DON PATTERSON, SHE CHRONICLED EVERY EVENT THROUGH THEIR COMPANY DDCP COMMUNICATIONS, CAPTURING THE HEART AND SOUL OF OUR MISSION TO EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE ARTS. DEBBIE'S PASSION FOR OUR CAUSE ONLY MATCHED HER LOVE OF PURPLE, A COLOR SHE ALWAYS WORE WITH PRIDE AND BECAME SYNONYMOUS WITH HER VIBRANT PERSONALITY. HER UNWAVERING DEDICATION AND INFECTIOUS ENERGY WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED, AND WE EXTEND OUR CONDOLENCES TO HER FAMILY AND LOVED ONES DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. DEBBIE'S LEGACY WILL LIVE ON THROUGH HER INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR ORGANIZATION, AND HER MEMORY WILL CONTINUE TO INSPIRE US IN OUR ONGOING EFFORTS TO UPLIFT AND EMPOWER THE YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY.
