plant propagation for beginners 1.

ON A MATURE VINE, LOOK BELOW THE LEAF OR STEM/VINE JUNCTURE FOR A TINY BROWN ROOT NODE. SNIP OFF A COUPLE INCHES OF HEALTHY STEM AND INCLUDE A COUPLE NODES WITH THE CUTTING. THIS IS WHERE THE ROOTS WILL GROW.

2.

REMOVE ANY LEAVES TOO CLOSE TO THE NODE, ESPECIALLY ONES THAT MIGHT END UP SUBMERGED UNDER WATER WHEN YOU PUT THE CUTTING IN A GLASS.

plants that will make your cottagecore dreams come true... F IDDLE L EAF F IG Makes any room feel more lush, and can grow over 40 FT. tall in it’s natural enviornment. Apartment dewllers can buy it too! Very in-your-face, but in the best way.

G OLDEN

POTHOS

Leafy, trailing plants that are perfect for any time of year. The fast-growing Pothos with variegated green and white will scream “I am THAT plant b*tch.”

POTTED SUCCULENT ASSORTMENT The most important space in any cottagecore home is the kitchen window that you look out onto the sprawling countryside... Right? If you can’t put a freshly baked pie on your windowsill the next best thing is a row of succulents.

PRESERVED FERN KOKEDAMA Maybe you just want to bring the woods right into your home, which is totally fair. A naturally preserved hanging fern from artisan moss requires no watering or upkeep, so even if you don’t have much natural sunlight, any home will love it.
