Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) - All perpendicular or orthogonal lines meet at a central vanishing point. It is determined by the perpendicular line drawn from the eyes to the picture plane. - No matter where parallel lines are placed on the perspectival projection, they have a common vanishing point. - Equal dimensions diminish equally as they disappear futhur in space so any portion of the picture can be measured.
Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)
Homogenous space are spaces in-between observable space and mathematical space. All objects within this space are realted and each point are created to fit its own rules. It creates groups thats act on other mathematical objects through their representations.

OLD QUAD ISOMETRIC
This is the isometric view of the old quad model. The line of the ribs and vault are thinner to make the view more

Symbols are added to showcase the story. It incluses the women chase down. The construction of the city and the arrival of the new man.
5
QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2 This view best show the chase down scene of the three man and the naked women. It is looking from the back of the three men and looking at the women from the back, just like the story described.
This view best show how the new man arrange the city. It show the doorway to the outside of the city and how the new man block them to prevent the women from escaping.
6
PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2
This scene is when the three men discover the naked women in their dream. The three man are starting to chase the women and the women is viewed from behind just like the story described. The women is running towards a stairway, but there is two other exit, thats why the three men lost track of her
This scene is when the new men arrive the city and start rearranging the layout of the city. He is using wood planks to block the stairway and sandbags to block the other way out. So the women will not be able to escape again in reality.

WEEK 4 READING: TITLE OF READING Complete your reading before attempting these questions:
Question 1: IWhat is the difference between autographic and allographic practice? (Maximum 100 words) Autographic is something that can not be recreated exactly like the original. For example, sculptures and painting are usually works of artist from their own perspective, which can not be copy and reproduced. There is always a different. Allographic is more like music, poetry and theatre. It can be reporduced by arranging the same component. Although it may differ from the original, it can be recreated.
Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) It is always very hard to express ideas and images in your mind. The representation of buildings is critical for architects. Thats why new representational techniques are created and keep innovating. Different prespective can be better shown and easier transferal and communication between the client and the architects. There is always a better way to interpretate reality.
