Photos were taken from different views of the croissant. We than sketch it and reconstruct it with plan drawings. It utilized cross sections of the croissant to understand how the object is shaped. I have learnt how to put together a construction plan. This project also taught me how to recreate an irregular object with photos and measurments.

Mario having a super enlarge mushroom afternoontea on top of the clouds , near his house. The mountainin my world took a dome shape which resembles more to the reality. Bold colours and thick lines were used to fit the cartoon theme. And detailed textures were added to the boxes, rivers and clounds. I imaged what’s behind the scene and looking at it at a different perspective.

Free handed Mario lying down chilling. Becuase I can not find any photo online to trace

Drawing the cylinder mountain by dividing a circle into 12 sections. I extrude the body with a ruler and finsh the curve top free hand.

Putting wood pattern onto the floating cubes. I created all the patterns myself according to the world provided.

Trace both sides of the world on top of a light box.

4 styles of 3D panel patterns are used to recreate the terrian. Starting from the highest point of the terrian we have the highest panel pattern which is a simple pyramid. After that is a hexagonal triangle surrounded by 4 pyramids, follow by a panel pattern created with 10 individual pyramids and the lowest pattern with only two rectangle base pyramids. Different patterns a distrbuted accordingly depends on the bumpiness of the terrian. Half of the whole terrian used a 2D panel to represents a flatter ground.

Prototype of 3 of the panel pattern. Constructed with 120gsm standard printing paper and put together with tape. My table when building the 3D panels.

Me constructing one of the panels. In this case it is the 10 triangles pattern panel.

Joining and glueing the 2D panles. The paper model actully twist and from the shape and height of the actual terrian.

INVISIBLE CITY City of the dream, but also the ugly city. A story of men trying to persude their dreams in a ungly way. Symbols are added to showcase the story. It incluses the women chase down. The construction of the city and the arrival of the new man.
