Diplômé de la Parsons School for Design et basé à New York depuis 1994, le photographe et artiste multidisciplinaire de renommée internationale David Drebin et la Galerie de Bellefeuille célèbrent avec fierté le dixième anniversaire de leur collaboration. Ce catalogue témoigne de cette relation fructueuse aussi bien que durable et présente les œuvres les plus emblématiques de l'artiste de la dernière décennie.

David Drebin est célèbre pour ses réalisations d’œuvres spectaculaires de sujets éblouissants.

Ses photographies racontent une histoire, mettant en vedette des femmes fatales ou encore des paysages de rêve évoquant des émotions, des perspectives psychologiques et des réflexions intimes dans les propres fantasmes, l'imagination et les expériences des spectateurs.

Souvent décrit comme étant épique, spectaculaire, dramatique, cinématique et rêveur, son travail est imaginatif, intelligent, sexy, élégant, surprenant et parfois même drôle. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, que ce soit les nouveaux amateurs d’arts ou bien les collectionneurs les plus sophistiqués.

Les œuvres de David ont été présentées à l’international dans de nombreuses prestigieuses foires d’art et dans les plus grandes galeries autour du monde. Sa vision unique et sa profondeur distinctive, mises de pair avec la passion, ou encore la tension, qui emplissent ses œuvres, fournissent une surface infinie pour l’imagination, rendant son travail hautement désirable pour orner les plus beaux espaces. À travers les années, sa signature cinématographique a évolué pour inclure de nouvelles formes d’art telles que des caissons lumineux, installations néons, des gravures sur du cristal Starfire, et plus récemment, la révolutionnaire « photo-sculpture » où il transforme ses muses et femmes fatales iconiques en art tridimensionnel de haute définition à couper le souffle.

A graduate of Parsons School of Design and based in New York City since 1994, internationally-renowned photographer and multi-disciplinary artist David Drebin and Galerie de Bellefeuille proudly celebrate the tenth year anniversary of their collaboration. This catalogue is a testament of this fruitful and lasting relationship and features the most iconic works of the artist from the past decade.

David Drebin is celebrated for creating spectacular shots of dazzling subjects. His photographs tell a tale; starring elusive femme fatales in dreamlike cityscapes, these “dreamscapes” evoke emotions, psychological perspectives and insightful reflections into the viewers’ own fantasies, imagination and experience.

Often described as epic, spectacular, dramatic, cinematic and dreamy, his work is imaginative, smart, sexy, elegant, unexpected and sometimes even funny. His compositions provide something for everyone, by appealing to new patrons of the arts and to the most sophisticated of collectors.

David’s work has been showcased internationally in numerous prestigious art fairs and is featured in the finest galleries worldwide. His unique vision and distinctive depth, often paired with passion or tension-filled images provide an infinite surface for the imagination, making his work highly desirable as art to adorn and complete the most beautiful spaces.

Over the years, his cinematic signature style has evolved into other art forms including lightboxes, neon installations, etching on crystal starfire glass and, most recently, the revolutionary “photo sculpture” where he transforms his iconic muses and femme fatales into breathtaking high-definition 3D art masterpieces.
