and social distancing to help flatten the curve :) Even though there is no school, the executive team this year is still planning to bring volunteer opportunities to you guys, whether it is digital submissions or events in the summer. We want to keep you guys active members and bring to you guys the best opportunities possible! Even though this term will feel super short, hopefully everyone will be able to come out to the future DCMS, and opportunities to make the most of this term. Serving the last term as vice president gave me so many experiences I never would’ve gotten without Key Club, and hopefully you guys will feel the same way after this next term! We are super excited to be your new exec team and we are so excited for this upcoming year! Stay safe :)

SARAH NGO

OUTGOING LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

To My Home Club- Van Tech Key Club, This past year I’ve had the pleasure and honour to serve as Lieutenant Governor of Division 13/15/17. I never would have believed that the first time I walked into a Key Club meeting with only an expectation to watch a simple presentation for a free cookie would lead me to this moment. I never knew that this small club at my school was a part of a bigger organization that I would grow a passion and love for. After participating in service opportunities and looking up to the officers of the club, I knew that I had a passion and vision for this club and wanted to maximize my contribution. Deciding to run for President was a scary moment and winning the election was even scarier. But from this experience my love for Key Club only grew stronger and it was from this, I decided to run for Lieutenant Governor. I would not have ever made it this far without the support of my home club and for that I thank all of you. You were all my rock and inspiration, and my officers did nothing but love and accept me for all my successes and faults during my term. I hope all of you will be

able to do that for Angela whom I have passed the torch to. Having the Lieutenant Governor from your home club will be a huge strength that Van Tech will continue to have, so use this to the best of your

editor's note Hi Key Clubbers! You may recognize me as I served as the president of Van Tech Key club last term! If you're new, hi! My name is Katelyn and I am a grade 11 student at Van Tech. I am very excited to be serving as the editor of the club this term because I love photography and graphic design. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to share these newsletters with you! I hope you all had a lovely spring break (even though the majority of it was probably spent inside), and I can't wait for the upcoming term and the new experiences it will bring. Although it isn't exactly the start we were expecting, I think this year is going to be full of new ideas and opportunities. We will continue to update you as much as possible on what the next few months will mean for Key Club, so thank you for being patient with us! Stay safe and healthy everyone!
