Constructing Environments Student: Kate Moffat 639160
Task: - Build a tower as high as you possibly can using the amount of material provided - The tower must be able to accommodate something so at least one opening is required Initial thoughts: - Double wall of bricks to maximise stability - Stagger vertical joints to avoid lines of weakness
Construction: - Base of double bricks - Non uniformity of bricks, difficult to create neat corners and overlapping - Gaps left between bricks to economise on materials - Rubber bands around stacks of bricks used as cover
