Clothing are items worn on the body.

Clothing is an item or fabric, usually sewn together to cover part of the human body.

Clothing protects the human body from the hot sun and high temperatures in warm tropical countries.

Clothing such as thick wool coats and boots keeps the human body warm in very cold temperatures.

Clothing is also worn for decoration, as a fashion.

Fashion is the form of clothing, accessories, and furniture. It can be used by everyone. It is related to culture. Fashion is a source of looking better/attractive.

Here is a link that tells all about fashion history from 1920 to 2000.

GREEK SCHOOL UNIFORMS We don't think that Greece ever adopted a strict school uniform rule. School uniforms were actually banned in 1981. The school apron was originally worn by girls in black until 1965. Then the Minister of Education, George Papandreou, changed its color from black to blue and drafted the circular of the Ministry of Education with its mandatory characteristics. We, the younger ones who do not have memories from those school years, can see them worn by the actors in the films of the Greek cinema of the time such as " Desk Heartbeats ", “Beating comes from heaven" and others or in many series of TV.In the 1960s and 70s the uniform was comprised of something like a blue overal. The uniform surely didnt look like those of the U.K. or other european schools. During the 1930s and 40s boys of school age had to wear a special hat with an owl badge on it. It looked like a police cap and they should wear it at all times even outside school, even at play. If a teacher caught them not wearing it they would be punished next day at school.

CASUAL OUTFITS IN OTHER COUNTRIES Chinese clothing describes both the ancient hanfu and modern variations of indigenous Chinese dress as recorded by the artifacts and traditional arts of Chinese culture. Chinese clothing has been shaped through its dynastic traditions, as well as through foreign influences. Chinese clothing showcases the traditional fashion sensibilities of Chinese culture traditions and forms one of the major cultural facets of Chinese civilization.

The United States is one of the leading countries in the fashion design industry, along with France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. Apart from professional business attire, American fashion is eclectic and predominantly informal. While Americans' diverse cultural roots are reflected in their clothing, particularly those of recent immigrants, cowboy hats, boots, jeans, and leather motorcycle jackets are emblematic of specifically American styles.New York City and Los Angeles are the centers of America's fashion industry. They are considered leading fashion capitals. New York City is generally considered to be one of the "big four" global fashion capitals, along with Paris, Milan and London.

Fashion in France is an important subject in the culture and country's social life, as well, being an important part of its economy.Fashion design and production became prominent in France since 15th century. During the 17th century, fashion exploded into a rich industry, for exportation and local consumption, the Royal Minister of Finances, Jean-Baptiste Colbert, says "Fashion is to France what the gold mines of Peru are to Spain...". In the 19th century, fashion made a transition into specialisation for modern term haute couture, originated in the 1860s, bringing good taste to fashion argot. The term prêtà-porter was born in the 1960s, reacting against the traditional notions of fashion and garment-making process, satisfying the needs of pop culture and mass media.
