# Me too
What have influenced trend? “Time” magazine just announced person of the year 2017, and this year it’s entire movement – campaign #Metoo. Women expansively share their stories about sexual harassment at workplace and urge equality. It became real international trend and it’s expected to influence not just media and work policies, but the way women represent and feel themselves as well. Women will get more empowered and confident by the way they look and clothes they wear. At the same time, movement is deliberate fight which connects all partici pants together as well as all historical predecessors starting from suffragette movement in 1920s. Designers began to explore theme in previous seasons as well, highlighting references to British women workers in 1920s and military/factory style. Although, some designers propose more feminine looks with note of ‘fight mood’.

# Back to roots
What have influenced trend? Overwhelmed by globalization and quick access to almost any kind of product, people often struggle to find their own identity, make right choice and present themselves as unique personalities. Today not people tend to be ambassadors of the brand, but the other way around – brands represent their client, explore his personality and do their best to develop product which will fit to personal needs of consumers. In the uncertainness of future, people often prefer to explore culture of their ancestors in order to discover the world behind globalized trends. In such glocal approach, we witness emergence of ethnic embroidery and national motifs combined with futuristic contemporary elements, machine embroidery or modern silhouettes. With availability of synthetic dying, colors are getting much di pper than those which you might expect to see in ethnic wear.

# In his shoes
What have influenced trend? Gender free style is becoming globally accepted phenomena with young generation wanting to erase borders between men and women and leave behind gender specific stereotypes. Meanwhile, women not only entering workforce, but also getting promoted to management positions what often brings them to situations where they are ‘the only woman in the room’ with no specific dress code or etiquette assigned to females yet. Based on described changes in society, designers and women themselves are getting inspired from classic men office style, applying modifications and modernizations as per new realities of society.
