Tech Hub is designed for a family, perhaps a committed couple. It’s location would be in the living room, a space where the family gather at one time. The bungee follows the strong structure of the plywood, however creates a flexible and softer element, to keep multiple gadgets safe. Made by the processes of lamination and CNC routing. Using the CNC to create groves and holes to house the bungee.

SOFT STORAGE
Designed for rented living and the nomadic lifestyle, using felt for portability and leaving no damage. Using a simple and organised design to keep items accessible and neat. Also adjustable at the straps for use around the home.
USER INTERACTION
Because of it’s flexibility Soft Storage can be rolled up and moved to another place within the home or when packing up and moving. Soft Storage has adjustable straps allowing the multi-function, with either side able to be removed. An extra pair of straps means the removed half can still be used. These straps have grip backing to prevent slipping. Including 7 stitched pockets of varied sizes suitable for multi-function and organised storage.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT.
Our clients required a design which would be which could be manufactured and sold at a affordable price. Also providing a colour scheme to follow for their brands. Soft Storage has a grid like pocket design to simplify manufacture and keep costs down. Using felt for the entire product as well as thread continues to keep the design uncomplicated and affordable.
Up-cycling Project PULP Project Brief To use a material commonly wasted and damaging to the environment and up-cycle this material to create a new product. Thinking about the up-cycling process and a market the product would fit within.

PULP UP-CYCLED PAPER
PULP is collection of up-cycled paper products which use a bold textile design to create on trend aesthetics to appeal to young adults This collection is made up of more decorative small pieces for the home, perfect for young adults with small spaces.
MANUFACTURE & DEATAILS
The bowls are embroidered with thread to add another textile and colour to the design. This embroidery also appears on the light shade. Colour is added during the pulping process to create dusky shades. I’ve added more pigmented colour and patterns. The PVA glue added during the pulping process makes the products durable and better quality.

To develop the project and style of the designs, I researched current styles of illustration which inform and aid on mental health. I wanted to get an idea of the trends within the culture of a teenage culture. Therefore developing my illustrations to appeal and attract young people. Creating my own trend on the education of mental health.
Narrative & Ritual Brief MCCORMACK Project Brief Creating a family of three objects, one must be manufactured by a casting or moulding technique and another made from timber. The objects tell a personal narrative and allow a ritual to be performed. Youtube: McCormack (Narrative & Ritual Brief)

MCCORMACK
MCCORMACK is a personal project, telling my own personal narrative of loss, creating an annual ritual remembering someone lost through sensory memories. Including a scented candle, moon object, engraved date and voice within a sensory video. All specific to my narrative.
NARRATIVE & RITUAL
My family of objects tell my personal narrative of loss, specifically my dad. I developed sensory memories which would create the ritual. Creating a ritual concept which reflect the process of loss. A permanent and temporary part, one melts away leaving the permanent half, reflecting my dad and me. The moon shaped void revealed is what he left behind, which I create something out of (moon candle), a healing process. An engraved ash box houses the cast objects throughout the year, as a suitable memory of the person lost.
