What a year 2020 was! With all of the ups and downs of the past year, one thing stayed the same at Boyle Ranch; our dedication to the Fleckvieh breed. We continue to pursue our breeding goals with Fleckvieh cattle that we started in 2014. We are located in Western Iowa near Washta. We began with the Fleckvieh breed using Full Fleckvieh bulls on our commercial cows and decided to purchase the first Full Fleckvieh cows a couple years later from Stanley Martins and as some would say the rest is history. We have met some incredible people through selling and buying these cattle. We would like to thank all of our past customers and we look forward to meeting new customers. Sale Details

We are excited to be offering 19 quality bulls this year to our customers via private treaty. Bulls range in age from fall yearlings to spring yearling, along with one two-year-old. We have Full Fleckvieh, Purebred and Commercial bulls available. We develop these bulls with our customers success in mind. They have been grown at a moderate pace so they will hold up through the summer breeding season. Cattle were pictured on February 8, 2021 for the catalog.

About The Breed

Fleckvieh cattle are known for their maternal calving ease, efficient growth, cow longevity, milk quality and performance in the feedlot and on the rail. Here at Boyle Ranch we believe Fleckvieh cattle bring value to every sector of the cattle market with great weaning weights for the feeder calf producer, great maternal characteristics for the replacement heifer market, and also their ability to convert in the feedyard and dollar up on the rail. We have a nice selection of coming fall yearlings and spring yearling bulls. We have red and black Fleck influenced bulls and fullblood Fleckvieh bulls.

Sale Terms

Catalog

Bulls can be secured with a $1000 deposit and kept free until May 15. All bulls will pass a Breeding Soundness Exam before delivery.

Yearling Full Fleckvieh. Balboa Son out of a Crossroad Radium Daughter. I get a lot of comments from neighbors and customers when they see this guy and the general consensus is WOW. He is definitely a powerful standout with weaning weight of 803 combined with the double stacked calving ease pedigree of Balboa and Crossroad radium. I would like to see him used on cows but his genetic testing reveals he could be used on heifers. He is puppy dog gentle and loaded with performance. Horned Diluter free.
