(This is a proof-of-concept post to illustrate the creation of a social media release. It is not an actual release.) Pitch: Auburn City Fest, Auburn’s largest free outdoor festival, brings together Auburn residents to enjoy live music, arts and crafts, local vendors, and activities for children. Background: The Auburn City Fest is put on by the City of Auburn and the business community in Auburn. It is held the last Saturday of April every year at Kiesel Park. Admission, parking, and park activities are all free. This is the 15th Annual Auburn City Fest. Facts: The event takes place in Kiesel Park in Auburn on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no fee to attend this event. Dog’s are welcome but are asked to be kept on a leash. There are food vendors at the event, but attendees are welcome to bring their own food. Musicians featured include: The Alabama Blues Project, Soul Coalition, and Big Swamp Blues Band. The Hogway Speedway Racing Pigs, pony rides presented by Jubilee Farms, and inflatables will all be at the Children’s Imagination Station.
