Property Prices Continue to Rise In recent years, the local property market has seen a significant decline (74% over three years) in the number of properties available for sale while buyer enquiries have grown by 20% over the same period. This situation of low supply and high demand continues to fuel price growth in our suburbs. We have used Ferny Hills as an example below.

Mars Bar Christmas Crackles

Property Management Storm Season is Here While the Hills District was fortunately left unscathed by the recent Halloween storms it was a timely reminder of the importance of protecting our home and family during storm season. Here are a few tips to keep you safe this storm season:

200 g Mars Bars chopped 3 cups Rice Bubbles 1 canola oil spray 2 tbs pouring cream 2 tsp cocoa powder sifted 100 g white chocolate 24 Smarties Method

Check your garden for dangerous trees and unsecured debris Clear gutters and drains and check your roof Ensure your home, contents and car insurance is adequate and current Prepare an emergency plan for your family and pets as well as an Emergency Kit with food, water, torch, medication and key contacts Sign up to MoretonAlert for free disaster alerts, like severe weather warning, bushfire information, potential flash flooding alerts and more

1. Spray 2 x 12 cup mini-muffin trays with canola oil. 2. Melt the Mars Bars, cream and cocoa in a glass bowl over simmering water and stir until smooth. Find out more at: www.mbrc.qld.gov.au/disaster 3. Put the Rice Bubbles in a separate large bowl, pour in the chocolate mixture and stir until well mixed. 4. Spoon the mixture into the muffins tray and press down gently. Refrigerate for 2 hours. 5. Melt the white chocolate in the microwave checking and stirring it at 30 second intervals. 6. Pour it into a piping bag while warm and snip the tip off. 7. Turn the crackles upside down and pipe the chocolate on. 8. Finish with a red chocolate button.
