Kelly Zeller and Ameeta Gangaram

Helping people regain their health, through improved energy levels, hormonal balance and physical mobility has been something both Ameeta and Kelly are passionate about. Both live and have served the northwest community of Brisbane for over 20 years. Ameeta and Kelly love the fact that they can positively impact the lives of clients who live here and in the surrounding areas. They are passionate about helping the community with their health-related issues, through naturopathy and massage. ‘My aim is to help women find balance within their busy lives. To see how simple it can be to feel normal and happy again,’ says Ameeta, the resident Naturopath and Coach at Zest Health Centre. She draws on her own experience of burnout and hormonal imbalance, along with her 16 years of experience. Kelly, their remedial massage therapist believes that therapeutic massage forms an integral part in us being able to live our lives to our maximum potential. She sees the nurturing benefits unfold for body, mind and spirit through this. The clinic prides itself in being a hub for health, for the community. Their workshops and events create a unique atmosphere for learning alongside the naturopathic and massage services. For both Kelly and Ameeta, education is paramount in achieving long-lasting results of wellbeing.

Claire Tierney - Yoga Sol

Claire Tierney - Owner of Yoga Sol

Claire is the owner of Yoga Sol a new Yoga and Massage Studio in Ferny Hills. Running a studio, teaching and massaging while being a Mum to both teenagers and toddlers is a juggle and balance. If there is something Yoga teaches us it’s balance.Having time for community, family and self is an art. ‘I am lucky to be able to to combine ‘me time’ with work and community time. Doing what I love and having the freedom to include my family in classes such as Mummy and Me for my little boys and Hot Vinyasa for my Husband and teenagers makes this the ideal situation for this life/work balance that we all strive towards,’ said Claire. Giving back is also very important for both community and Self. Every Saturday morning Claire runs a by Donation Class with any amount welcomed. All proceeds go to providing physio and massage to orphaned children with HIV and other physical disabilitys in Nepal and Vietnam. Claire has recently returned from Nepal after helping these children personally. Claire welcomes the whole community to create balance in our busy lives at Yoga Sol.
