WOMEN in Business Working women are no longer a rarity and are now accepted as an integral part of the workforce.
Australian women are increasingly becoming business operators, perhaps to improve their families’ social and economic wellbeing, remain attached to the labour force or better manage their work-life balance. At universities, in workplaces, in boardrooms and in government, a growing number of women have taken on leadership roles, forging pathways for other women and girls to follow. We are celebrating sixteen incredible local women who have taken a leap of faith and are making a name for themselves in small business. Read on to discover more about these business ladies making a name for themselves within our community.
