“I heard someone say once that we live two lives. The one we actually live out and the one we are constantly dreaming about. Somewhere out there on the road, we found the courage to live the life that had been consuming our conversations.” - K AT I E A L LC O R N
LIVE TUNES CURATED AMERICANA After watching several iconic clubs, like the Broken Spoke and the Scoot Inn, get muscled out of real estate in Austin, Chris and Katie aspire to s t a r t a n e w l e g a c y o n t h e o u t s k i r t s . I t’s a h i g h b a r, but one they are reaching for nonetheless. With live music three nights a week, they are building a reputation as a place with authentic Americana m u s i c . “Go west of Austin and take your pick - Luckenbach, Mercer Hall, Nutty Brown, the list goes on. We want to carry the re-burgeoning Country Western scene out east. I’m not talking about that red dirt stuff, I’m talking about Waylon, Webb, Porter, George, and E.T. This is Texas. We want those bands to ‘start’ here.” - C H R I S A L LC O R N

“ This building inspires everything we do. That’s why our food is simple and made from scratch. That’s why we serve Coca-Cola in the bottle. Sure we could make more money serving fountain drinks, but that’s just boring. We want your experience here to reflect who we are.” - C H R I S A L LC O R N
P RO U D H E R I TAG E HISTORICAL REUSE C h r i s A l l c o r n , a n e i g h t h g e n e r a t i o n Te x a n infatuated with old structures, scoured the outskirts of Austin for the perfect small town to c o n t r i b u t e t h e c o u p l e’s c h a r m . “My dad loves a dusty place that serves cold beer - the places that have been marinating for 20 years. There’s always somethin’ a little off, somethin’ a little janky. If you‘ve ever been to Lily’s in Lockhart, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Chris and I are both inspired by places like that.” - K AT I E A L LC O R N
