Graphic Design Portfolio

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY I believe that in order to create effective graphic design work, the designer essentially needs to become a cultural anthropologist in a visual sense. Being a computer guru or a Photoshop master can definitely enhance the work of a designer, but it is the ability to translate information into a distinct, visually-compelling form that yields the most extraordinary design work. My most successful designs have been created when I’ve allowed my brain to start out with a clean slate. It may seem as if that would be an obvious place to start, but too often, a designer will come to the table with a desire to impose a personal or trenddriven style on the project. When I have researched the client and fully wrapped my head around what their vision is for their company, my designs have been able to shine on their own without calling attention to my own personal style and tendencies.
