If you want your photos by a specific date, be sure to plan your session at least three weeks prior to allow for editing and delivery. Outdoor Sessions: When taking outdoor photos, the best time is 1-2 hours after sunrise or 1-2 hours before sunset to avoid the harsh mid-day sun. If we have to schedule your session outside of the ideal time, you’ll need to select a location that offers a lot of shade to allow for better photos. Indoor Sessions: When taking indoor photos, the best time is when the desired location is getting the most light. If the session will be in your home, make note of when and which rooms get the best light.
v ¾X You are more than welcome to select the location of your choice if you have a place in mind or I can provide suggestions for you to choose from. It helps if you have an idea of what type of location you’d like such as park, mountains, city, beach, etc. For example, for engagement sessions, some couples chose a location that is completely different than their wedding location. If you decide on a location that requires an additional fee such as the Denver Botanic Gardens or Cherry Creek Resevoir you will be responsible for covering the fee.

If you’re planning your engagement session, most hair and makeup stylists often have a trial run prior to your wedding day, you can try to plan the trial for the day of your session.
