S

EVE

ince opening in August, we have hosted a handful of different beer events on-site using our temporary licences. So far, we have had a fantastic response to our events, so many more will coming soon. The tap takeover weekend with Northern Monk Brew Co was a hit, pouring beers such as Mango Lassi Heathen all weekend, and being some of the first of the year to pour Attack on Blue Falcon Blueberry Black IPA. We have had new beer launches from Ghost Brewery (Vamp 5% Blood Orange Red Ale) & Eyes (Orion 4% Wheat Pale & Gemini 6% White IPA) which had great responses, with all beers from both breweries flying out in no time. Alongside these we have had meet the brewer events from Ridgeside, Crooked and Nomadic Beers, where we launched a new beer on a temporary cask line we had installed for the event. We don’t just focus on beer too, have hosted Masons Yorkshire Gin nights and also wine tasting events too. We’ve got something for everyone. Keep an eye out for what we have in store.

11

BUXTON BREWERY

Buxton Brewery first began their journey in the family garage in 2009. The founders, Geoff and Rich, had a rocky few months before they nurtured their pale ale to how they imagined it, and it wasn’t too long after that they decided to make the decision to go commercial with their brew. In 2015, the team has grown to 10 people and the brewery is based in a custom designed, British built brewhouse in Buxton. The core values of innovation and high-quality beer has led to the brewery creating over 30 distinct brews, as well as special edition beers - all beers are nurtured by a small team of enthusiastic beer lovers.

GINS

As well as having a large selection of craft beers and fine wines, we also boast a small select range of local craft gins, paired with accompanying Fentimans mixer drinks. Masons Dry Yorkshire Gin is the first gin to be distilled in Yorkshire, and it is distilled using the traditional London Dry Gin method, in a small copper alembic still. As a craft small batch gin, we feel that Masons fits in well with the range of products we stock at Growlers!
