32oz bag powdered sugar

set oven to 375째; meanwhile, line cupca ke pan with cupcake papers
:
in a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. beat in eggs one at a time.

combine flour, salt and baking powder in smaller bowl.

add flour mixture into butter mix, alternating with milk and beat well; stir in vanilla.

using a measuring cup, fill with mix and pour into liners, filling them about 2/3 full.

once liners are filled, put pan(s) into the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes.

once time is up, check the cupcakes by inserting a toothpic into the middle of the cupcake; if clean, they are done. if raw or gooey mix remains, let them bake longer.

once fully baked, carefully remove cupcakes from pan and set on cooling rack (or counter if you don’t have one) to dry.

while cupcakes are cooling, the frosting can be made. once they are fully cool (about 30- 45 minutes), the cupcakes are able to be frosted.

to make the frosting, beat butter and combine with powdered sugar. slowly add in the whipping cream and vanilla.

to have a simple frosted look, take a knife and spread the frosting generously over the cupcake. don’t be afraid to pile it up!

for a more complex design, fill a plastic bag with frosting; cut the tip of the corner, and gently squeeze to decorate cupcakes in any design you want!
