With the bearded ‘hipster’ becoming an expected look amongst todays individuals and in a world of extremes, men are now looking for innovative ways of capturing attention to their facial hair and differentiating themselves from the common stereotype.

Shaven sides, bristled upper lip, welcome back the moustache. And not just any moustache, but the extravagant moustache. The negative frequency dependent trend identifies men undergoing a daily beauty regime, purchasing the most profound waxes and equipment to style their moustaches in adventurous shapes and trim to size. Extremists have further revolutionized this by pushing boundaries and dyeing them eccentric bright colours, reigniting facial hair. White, blue and rainbow will be key tones that will lead the way. noun: gentleman; plural noun: gentlemen 1. a chivalrous, courteous, or honourable man. “he behaved throughout like a perfect gentleman” Would you like a whiskey with your shave Sir? Barber shops have always been understood as a communal space for men of all ages, a place that reinforces culture and a common ground to acculturate different generations as wisdom is passed along. They have however become a lost art.

Merging traditional and modern day aspects will revolutionize the barber shop. Traditional interior, classic services, modern app devices will be hallmarks in The Gentleman trend.

Today, in our contemporary world, the lines between entertainment and beauty are increasingly blurring. Opportunities for more in-depth and complex forms of collaboration are evolving, breeding an organization that doesn’t fit neatly in to the standard descriptions. Consumers not now only desire but anticipate content to be proceeded via technology and available instantly on the go.
