“ The most common reaction of the human mind to achievement is not satisfaction, but craving for more.” - Yuval Harari, Homo Deus
What drives our ambition? Why are we so fixated by the future? How interesting to think that we are physically always in the present but our minds are already in the horizon. Is it good for us to always be looking ahead? We may advance and reach greater heights but what’s the point if we’re not present in the present

“ Design is a form of projection, to shape something rather than find it, to invent something and think about the possible outcomes of that invention. This endless reshaping and speculation about possible outcomes is uniquely human. - Beatriz Colomina & Mark Wigley, Are We Human?

“ This is the primary commandment humanism has given us: create meaning for a meaningless world.” - Yuval Harari, Homo Deus
With all these things considered, I think that, ultimately, one of the biggest things that makes us human is that we find meaning in everything we do. Even when things seem to hold no meaning, we rewrite the story and create our own meanings. It’s not enough for us to just exist. It’s important for us to feel and to ponder, and to design and explore the world around us.
