Adventure and wellness retreat Mars, Valley Marineris
What is the architecture of a retreat that supports a typical programming of adventure and wellness tourism in response to an extreme environment in the valleys of Mars? This retreat is about enjoying life and keeping fit. This is a place for human enjoyment by building their body and their soul. It is hero’s journey to become healthy and explore Mars. A journey to loose and old body in decay and be rejuvenated into a new body ready to practice adventure sports. The retreat is envision to be the ultimate accommodation for the adventure explorer. To lessen the degrading effects of strong winds and dust storms the architecture is a result of the study of dynamic shapes found in the patterns of the topography on mars such as sand dunes and aerodynamic shapes. Spaces are organized as mix use, a combination of social, resting and exercise activities.
