01 Passive House Design The Ionia Residence was a collaboration between Architectura PC and Rochester Passive House Consulting. I worked thorugh multiple initial design visualizations based on the program provided by the clients. After an initial client review, the design was further developed to allow light to enter through clerestories in the great room and a stepped facade was introduced to allow for views south from all rooms. Once an initial design was approved by the clients, I assisted in the production of construction documents. My role focused on floor plans, exterior elevations, and detailing to meet Passive House standards. The clients chose to forgo applying for Passive House Certification in order to manage the of cost of the project.

03 Schematic Design A large part of my role at Architectura has been developing and performing visualizations of intial design ideas. The following diagrams, elevations, and three-dimensional perspectives have all allowed clients to gain a better understanding of the design intent, massing, materiality, and relationship of spaces before proceeding into the construction document phases.
Family Retreat A modern cabin in the woods designed for solar, daylighting, and rainwater collection.

Lakeside Cottage Diagramming, weather patterns, and viewsheds informed the design of this 2-story family cottage.
03 Rendering Another role I have performed while at Architectura is rendering. Utilizing Revit and Enscape I have taken preliminary design ideas and brought them to life. Clients are always excited to see a realistic portrayal of the end goal.
Country Estate A dwelling, nestled in the woods. Designed for a future in-law apartment shown in the renderings.

Village Hotel A boutique hotel with an active street facade at the center of a vibrant village main street.
03 Renderings Hope Foyer The renovation of an existing nave to brighten the interior and create a welcoming entrance to the church.
Gathering Cafe The renovation of existing church classrooms into a gathering space for parishioners to relax and socialize after services.

Lakeside Cottage The renovation of a lakefront cottage to provide ample space for entertaining and overnight guests.
Bayside Marina An active location for boaters and visitors to gather and prepare for a day on the water.
04 Construction Documents Once the design phase is complete, my role at Architectura becomes production. Adding annotations, dimensioning, tigthening up the design, and developing sections and details to fully document the design and prepare it for construction.
Lakeview Cottage A new lakefront home to entertain, relax, and enjoy the views of the water.
