The Dowtown Core of Toronto is a vital area and system. This is the centre hub and most things revolve around it from businesses, parks, industries, and many more. In addition, the drawings shown really depicts the importance of downtown Toronto and what occurs as you reach towards it. Majoriy of the roads, and paths revolve and centralize around downtown, and without it the lower region would not be as efficient as it would normally be.

For the Spatial Analysis, the main objective is showing the specifc amount of densities in the characterising areas within the site. We clearly notice a higher density on the west side. This is most likely because it contains many commercial, retail area, and mixed use. The Eaton Centre, Atrium on Bay, and Ryerson University are just the few things it contains, which defintly woul be the reason for high density.

Figure Ground (Getting Smaller)
Figure grounds are quite vital in design. They tell us which places are accesible and not accesible to the public. It is hard at times to determine what is private and what is not. In the residentials area of the site, it is easy to determine the houses for public, and private but things such as churches, and schools become controversial.

Detailed Designs
Axonometric (Oblique) These designs in planning, and design are used to describe the overall surrounding of the site, This design shows that the area contains very less mixed used and dense residential areas.

Section Drawing of Site Dundas is a very essential street in Toronto, and has been increasingly used. It has some ups and downs, but it clearly needs a few changes,
Kaveh Wahdat . 8
Newly Proposed Dundas The main objective for the new designed Dundas Street is to have a consistent street space, and to have a spacious and wide streets. That way itl’ll have a much better feeling, and street life thorughout this emerging street.

Persepectives Toronto is very a unique city and how it is used in terms of space. When we look at it, space should be used effectively, and efficiently. In the eastern and residential part of dundas, we notice that this space is mostly occupied by residents who live within the houses. They either walk to stores, go to parks or bike as a way to get through the city. Streetcars are frequent in this area which also means that it will be dense and full of walking people. Space is vital, and it is a way to get people moving efficiently and staying healthy at the same time.
