CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Statement of the Problem • What are the implications of gender sensitive healing to the healer and to the person being healed regarding wellness and well being? • What are the common illnesses and diseases that can be cured?
• What are healing practices and interventions used? • Which practices is gender sensitive? • What particular healing practices in terms of plants/herbs used is gender sensitive?
Significance of the Study • The researcher believes that the readers of the study will acquire deeper understanding about gender sensitive healing practices in selected communities in Mogpog and Gasan Marinduque.
• It will help interested individuals find out the materials used and processes done on actual healing. • Broaden our understanding about the benefits can offer by gender sensitive healing practices.
Scope and Limitations of the Study
• The study focuses on the biological aspects gender sensitive healing practices in selected communities in Mogpog and Gasan Marinduque, the healers and the people who got healed and the implications of the healing practices to the client.

CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY
Research Design • Mixed method is used in the study. This method of research involves tie between qualitative and quantitative paradigm. Since the study focuses on biological aspects and gender sensitive healing practices, with the considerations of the process, grounded theory, ethnography and includes survey method, mixed paradigm is the most appropriate method to be used.
Research Locale • The most suitable place for the study is in selected communities in Mogpog and Gasan Marinduque because of early survey done by some researches where there were common practices of traditional healing on the treatment of diseases.
Research Population • The healers and the persons who got healed are the target persons of the study.
