REORGANIZATION
The objective of this assignment was to choose an object, mine being an alarm clock, and also to choose any part of the staircase that shares similar qualities as the alarm clock. For my analysis on the alarm clock I analyzed the different spaces you would see if you were to cut a section through specific parts of the clock. 2

5
I chose the staircase in the department building that connects the third floor and fourth floor. This shares some similar qualities with the inside of the alarm clock.

7
To conclude this assignment, I combined the analysis diagram of the clock and the sections of the staircase to create a mapping diagram. With this I was able to use the mapping diagram to create a model. 8

LEARNING FROM MASTERS: PROCESS & OPERATION
Case study of Gerrit Rietveld- Schroder House
18
Using information found from the internet and books, I was able to redraw the plans, sections and elevations of the Schroder house.

Redrawn by hand elevation.

Redrawn by hand plan and section.

After having drawn all the required drawings for the assignment, I then continued to construct the model. For the finished product I tried to include all the different colors of the Schroder House.

One of the requirements were that we cut a section through the building so that it could be opened up to see the inside.

In addition to redrawing the plans, and building the model, I also needed to include an analysis of the chosen spaces or qualities of the building. These analysis diagrams aid in the development of my very own design. 38
This shows the analysis of the faรงade of the building. The exterior walls of the Schroder house, create an illusion of floating walls. They never seem to meet.
