REORGANIZATION
4
For the project of reorganization, I chose to analyse the interior space of an alarm clock. I found the spaces between the different parts inside the alarm clock had a very unique arrangement. So in my analysis of the alarm clock, I isolated the spaces inbetween the parts of the system and used the arrangement in my design.
5
6
7
I chose this part of the school stair-well because I felt like it had a similar quality to the layers of the alarm clock.
8
Combining the sections of the alarm clock and the sections of the staircase to create a mapping drawing. I also used the analyse of the clock to create a different design for the mapping diagram.
9
10
In this final model, I tried to incorporate the qualities of all the mapping diagrams.

For learning from masters, I chose to recreate Gerrit Rietveld Schroder House.

I chose to analyse the living spaces in the Schroder House. Blue representing the vertical movement between the floors, yellow representing the private spaces, and red for the public spaces.
24
25
26
For these concept models, I used my analysis of the spaces, and stacked them using the analysis of the first floor, with the analysis of the second.
27
28
Using the arrangements from the concept models, I began to integrate the analysis of the facade of the Schroder House so I can begin to develop the concept.
29
30
31
For my first spacial model I combined the concept models and increased the scale of the model.
32
33
34
For my final model, I used all three of analysis, adding the quality of windows being pushed out and pushed in to mimic the exploded diagram.

However, the space in my final model was not functional, so I redrew the plan, section and elevation, adding parts so that the space is more suitable to live in.

MATERIAL COMBINATION AND CONCEPT CONVERSION
45
46
For this project, because we were to use our final model from the second project, I wanted to continue to use the same qualities of straight lines and box like figures. I combined the sting to create coverings, sitting or resting areas, or to create movement.
